Everyone has their own bucket list,
If you don't know what a bucket list is, its just a list of things you want to do before you die.
They can be feasible enough to do, or nearly impossible.
but its fun to dream about it.
some people write them down, others keep a mental note,
or they're said aloud spontaneously.
I never wrote an actual bucket list, I just say them to myself in my head in random moments in time.
And in an effort to organize some of my life more and actually try to get these things done...
Today, I will type out..my bucket list.

I never wrote an actual bucket list, I just say them to myself in my head in random moments in time.
And in an effort to organize some of my life more and actually try to get these things done...
Today, I will type out..my bucket list.
1) Go on a road trip along historic Route 66:
This is something that I've always wanted to do. Maybe its because I've lived in the Northeast coast for most of my life that the idea of traveling down a highway through the desert states, blasting classic rock, sounds so amazing to me. It starts in Chicago, IL and ends in Los Angeles, CA.
2) Traveling:
There are so many places that I would love to go, that it should be just a separate post.
So far, i've completed one traveling wish off my list. Going to Italy.
3) Buy a little red dress:
Yea yea yea, I know. Lame right? Not really, for a person that's had self esteem issues for most of her life. I used to only wear a lot of sweat/yoga pants, jeans and baggy shirts. I never wore a dress that wasn't black.
Its only recently that I started wearing dresses, but I never felt that I could pull off a sexy red dress.
And I remember that was always one of my secret wishes.
4) Bungee jumping:
5) Go on a safari in Africa:
The closest thing to a safari I've ever been on was driving by Six Flags Great Adventure's safari in New Jersey.
6) Climb...at least halfway Mt Everest:
Haha...yea..I know..impossible. But hey this is my bucket list. don't judge me. Why halfway you might ask. Its not a symbol of my horrible habit to finish things halfway, but...its because I kinda want to live to finish all the other things on my list.
7) Go to Egypt: Explore the Pyramids:
Oh man, this just sounds so amazing. I've always been interested in Ancient Egyptian culture. I was obsessed with it when I was young.
8) Go to the Moon:
With the magic of science and Russians, the idea of space traveling is possible!..I just need 250,000 dollars.
9) Travel along Marco Polo's route.
If you don't know Marco Polo's history, he was a merchant from Venice that was famous for embarking on an epic journey through Asia. It took him 24 years to complete. It would be very difficult to do what he did today, especially because of the disputes going on in certain countries.
10) Write my own novel
11) Own an Alaskan husky or Malamute( a fluffier version of a husky)
I always wanted a male husky. A black and white one with an intense look on his face and striking blue eyes. Growing up, I've always tried to convince my mom to get one of these dogs, but she thinks that they look like demons.
12) Design my own house.
I want to live in a location thats not too far from the ocean and close enough to the mountains. I want a lot of land surrounding my future home as well...this way I can add on additions to the house if I choose to...
13) Actually sing in my own voice in front of people.
During karaoke or in general, I never actually sing in my own voice. I intentionally sing horribly.
For once, I would like to actually sing in a voice that I think is good...but I think people will think
i'm just joking around and singing badly again.
14) Pet various animals.
I've always wanted to pet a tiger, a panda, a whale and all other kinds of animals..not in the wild of course...
15) Learn a different language:
16) Hold a tarantula.
I hate spiders..but for some strange reason I want to hold one...
17) Observe cherry blossoms in Japan.
18) Travel to Macchu Pichu.
19) Drive a motorcycle
20) Go backpacking in Asia.
21) Knit a scarf...(5 years in progress..haha..fail)
I'm going to finish this someday! I know I will!
22) Learn to dance the tango.
23) Write and sing a love song to a special someone.
I'm going to write either a rap or a ballad..just kidding..kinda.
24) See the Northern Lights.
25) Eat something that I wouldn't normally eat.
26) Sell one of my paintings to a stranger.
I think it'd be pretty awesome if someone I didn't know, actually want to buy a painting of mine.
27: Make an Italian style dinner for friends all by myself.
Which means not heating up Chef Boyardee ravioli's...a'ha.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And this is all I have for now but it will always keep growing.
I think it'd be better to have another post on travels..it would take forever to read
I think its really great to keep a bucket list. When life becomes a bit too monotonous, or when we lose that spark or excitement in life, I think looking at a bucket list will help you see yourself in a different position and actually try to achieve your goals or dreams.
So write one up! see where it will take you.
best of all, see how many things you can check off.
And remember that no dream or wish is too silly or impossible.
If it makes you happy or feel good about yourself,
thats all that matters.
