I'm not trying to be mean about this,
but its true.
My parents are interesting people to be watching nature specials with.
I remember watching March of the Penguins with them.
We sit there watching these penguins try and survive in the harsh, freezing temperatures, while rearing their offspring for about an hour or so.
They're the only people I know that can think of penguins as rotisserie style chickens.
Its not limited to just penguins,
the entire animal kingdom is at risk.
Here are some things that I can remember my parents say while watching these specials with them.
Marine specials are generally their favorite.
Especially that show Monster Fish

They're fascinated with giant squid specials and they love to imagine drying one of those up on the roof of the house.
Giant tarantulas
Giraffes
Frogs...
Even whales.
I'm sorry mother nature.
I really am.
