Lately, I've been thinking about the universe a lot.
I've been fascinated by it for a long time.
To me, its almost unsettling to think what could be out there besides dust, fire and other elements.
I think everyone, has wondered the same thing, for quite some time.
and maybe we all have our own interpretation of the universe.
----------------------------
I remember what my early thoughts of the universe was.
I thought the universe ended with Pluto. (You'll always be a planet to me)
But then I learned that we're just a tiny part of the Milky Way galaxy,
which in turn was just a part of a billion other galaxies.
but thats just the simple description.
Then I thought that the universe was so big because at the end of it, is god.
making more and more galaxies, life forms, and memories.
-------------------------------
I learned about other men's theories about the universe.
Like the String Theory.
Basing this on what I remember and not looking it up, the String Theory can be simply explained that the universe is all connected by a gridded network of 'string'
and when you place something with a high amount of mass ( which means a greater gravitational pull) on top of this gridded string, it creates an indent, which pulls smaller masses towards it. Which are then in turn, pulled by the gravities of the other masses around it. Making the Solar System.
And this goes for the rest of the universe.
And if the sun were to supernova, the planets would simply lose their orbit.
(Again, i'm basing this on memory, any physicist who happens to read this, please correct me if i'm wrong. I'd like to know)
I think that nowadays, the most interesting theory involving the universe to me,
is the theory of Many Worlds.
Again, from my interpretation of it, it means that the when we make decisions in any part of our lives, the paths we didn't choose will become an alternate world. A world that could have came into being. They are connected but will never meet.
It made me think about that maybe thats why the universe is so big. It needs to encompass all the different worlds and galaxies that are part of the decisions that we make everyday.
Or serves as a reminder to ourselves of the infinite possibilities of ourselves.
we just have to grasp it.
we just have to grasp it.
And right now, to me, my own universe is as unknown to me as the one above my head.
but wondering what it could be, is rather exciting no?
